Take a look at what we're working on to make your children, and you, feel more comfortable during your visit.

We continue to be busy in the Children’s Ministry in several areas:

1. Security
   We have completed the process of having all of the people that work with our children, in any area, background checked. Be assured that we have done everything we can do to keep our children safe, protect the name of Jesus and Grace Church, and also to protect our workers.
2. Upgraded Nursery pager system
   We now have the ability for our regular members and our visitors to check in their babies directly into our Nursery room. It will help facilitate better flow of parent and child traffic and also make a better impression with our first time visitors.
3. Nursery Training for volunteers
   The majority of our volunteers have gone through training to become better acquainted with our guidelines and procedures to care for our little ones.
4. Expansion of Children’s Area
   After evaluating our current space and future needs by our Long Range Planning Committee, construction has now begun to expand and update our children's area along with other improvements to the church building.
5. Service has become a major direction of our Children’s Ministry.  Our children regularly minister at a local nursing home and also send cookies and cards to our military men and women.
6. Vacation Bible School - Every summer look for our week long VBS offered to Children 4 years old through 5th grade.  This past summer we used Gospel Light's SonQuest Rainforest curriculum.  Kids from all over the community enjoyed learning solid Biblical truths in a church that was transformed into a tropical jungle.
7. Awana - Every school year, Grace Church hosts a wonderful Awana program.  More information about this program is available (look for the Awana button on our homepage).
